We are staying on the 6th floor of the new tower. My thoughts on it. The building is modern and beautiful, but the rooms have some glaring problems. Our Ac unit was now really adjustable for temperature. There is a digital panel near our bed,but didn't really have and effect. We were freezing the first night, we called maintenance but to no avail. The only way we controlled temperature was to open the sliding door to let warm air in.
There are hanging light fixtures, that hang 5 ft from the floor that are head bangers. Really dumb.
Bathroom lighting is horrible, all shadows. The shower has a oval entrance, easy to trip over. The shower head is fixed, low pressure in the ceiling. Wife hated it,because she could not clean with out getting her hair wet.
All the cabinets have built in lightING that are, supposed to turn off when closed, unfortunately the latches don't work properly, so the lights are always on.
The balcony door had an electric operating shade. Already showing wear,I don't see it lasting more than 6 months, before replacement.
This review is just about the rooms, not the staff,no complaints there

I completely agree with the O/P's review of the room, which basically applies to the Plush Jacuzzi Room Stacia & I had over Halloween as well. Except for light fixtures hanging down and the view, but pretty much same-same.

I also have to agree with the room problems, in addition there was only one time during our stay where we had hot water in our shower. Also the water in the pool wasn't quite warm enough. It was ok on the hot days but we had a couple cooler days and it seemed cold. The hot tub is at 98.6 degrees and everyone was complaining that it was to cool. We left Temptations to meet some family at another resort and their water temps in the hot tub, pool, and showers were perfect. Just the right temp to spend all day in or short spurts.

Oddly, our "old" room type, which is the renovated jacuzzi rooms called the Plush Jacuzzi Room now... everything worked fine. Same lighting issue, same shadowy bathroom, same problem with rainfall shower when all the lady is wanting to do is rinse the seawater off the bod and notg get hair wet, but at least everything, including the A/C, worked fine.

We were in a Lush room last time. Cool looking but it’s cheap wall paper, particle board, and plastics. Not wood and granite/marble like a high end resort. The bed was very comfy though.

No CD player. So bring a connector to watch movies from a tablet/phone. It’s easy to get to the tv hdmi connector. Unless you want the standard TV movies (ie ... same old porn themes).

Shower was lame, not room for 2; no multiple rain shower heads, no curtain/door to keep the steam in.

Yea...hit our heads a few times on the hanging plastic lights.

Has anyone else lost small items in the back of the cabinets? We had to rig up a clothes hanger to fish some items out. Found a few others also.

Bring suction cup hooks and a short piece of rope to hang swimsuit bottoms to dry.

But...we’re going back in june. Definitely miss the 5 star treatment of Secrets and Breathless... but the party and people are worth it.

Lol, we lost all our tips, Boobs Cruise money in envelopes down that dreaded gap between the wall and the cabinets.
Had to use hanger poles like chopsticks to retrieve them....took about an 2 hours lol, would have been much quicker without a hangover.
