I like my camera and want and will take it with me.... If they did ban camera's it would not stop me from returning to Temptations...
and even if there was a ban... people as in creeps would still bring camera's..
so it comes down to, when in public your picture could be taken no matter where you are...

Why is it everyone talks about this like they won't be able to bring their camera?????

What they're talking about here is LIMITING camera usage.

Those people that try to use their camera in a place where it's not supposed to be will be ejected... plain and simple.

I like the idea someone proposed though.

The hotel should force you to sign a waver like the no sex in public one. Saying something along the lines of you won't be a creeper with your camera and if you're caught being a creep you can get ejected from the hotel.

I by no means am trying to point fingers but as mike said he took no pictures at sexy pool, nice shoes,or the outher games and still come home with 1200 pictures.I don't think the big problem is with the people from cancuncare as we try to respect each outher but when some people get on here and vent as they have done about there rights and making new laws kinda make me wonder what kind of pictures they have taken.Everyone should be able to take their camara on vacation but maybe they should only use it in certain places. Now im done.

I think because it would have to be one or the other... I don't think you could have both people always take advantage

    It doesn't have to be.

Fire already explained that this works at Hedo. One section is a camera free zone.

Also, I've said it before. Camera use was limited and controlled years ago. There is no reason that the staff cannot control it now. I know that Mario and Chinos would step up to shut any idiots down who don't want to follow the rules.

the reality is we live in a rule hungry world where the so called "quick an easy way" to solve every f'n problem is to just make a new rule/law to "fix" it

see large beauracratic governments here !

if we could just spend half the amount of energy trying to teach people basic natural law (respect of other people and their stuff) then a very large portion of all the civil laws/rules could be easily done away with

but instead-----we take the opposite route and make civil rules/laws to blanket everybody and apply to the all the decent people who "get it" and do follow natural law/rules

such a warped way of solving a problem

    lets see here?

lets make those who dont do anything wrong suffer for the handful that do

now thats a f'n briliant way to solve problems

    rob

    ps
maybe yall can figure this shit out while im gone to new olreans for the weekend to party, play golf and watch the saints in the superdome - look for us on tv (that is unless your banned from the tv on sunday - lmao)

*L*.. Rob... I take it you don't like rules..... *LOL*

really... you want to "teach" everyone to be respectful and think that will work? Maybe they should make anyone who is visiting TR for the first time take a Respectful Camera Usage seminar before they can check in.

    *L*

That is basically what you're saying right?

Lol ... I somehow understand exactly what Rob is trying to say, but I also understand what your
saying Ian, then again after the 100th thread about cameras and the majority of us all saying and arguing the same points, I could have cut and pasted all our responces from the previous ones haha...

I think Rob point is one I agree with , that if there is 1,000 people there on a given day and only 4 or 5 are disrespectful idiots, then why make the ones that have their cameras by the pool and taking the party pics, like the Jacuzzi record filling pics and the group pics of the reunion groups doing crazy things, that we all love to see. why make them suffer for the 2% that cant comprehend respect......

However Ian I also understand your point, its not that you are pushing for a ban, but a limitation on usage, for all of us that have been going for years, and remember how it used to be, we know what it could be, and I think Rob, myself and everyone going back then would still love it to be that way and make those necessary changes.... its the ones that are new or were not there back then , that dont know what rules used to be in place and could be in place to make it better, those are the ones that are calling for an all out ban and rules rules rules..... when all they really need to do is put the old rules back, and have the staff police what they can by the pool, and not let the NON participants into the games at night....... Put it back that way for a year and let everyone see what it used to be ... and opinions would change drastically...
Ok now im broke after putting my 2 cents in
Have fun in New Orleans Rob
