When we were there in Aug. some of the girls were doing body shots and out of no where up pops a camara glued to this guys face..Well lets say I got nervous and spilled my drink on his camara.Sorry D...Head!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly this is a major concern for me, so much so that I have decided not to book a trip to Temptations. I should not have to worry on a vacation that my wife's tits will be posted on voyeur web etc. There have been several pictures of people at Temptations posted there. I understand people wanting to take pics of their wife, friends, etc. problem is a limited or "discrete" camera ban will not work. It should be all or nothing. Years ago this would be a non issue, but with Facebook, voyeur web, etc. anyone's picture can be taken without there knowledge and uploaded to countless websites.

These always piss me off. If your employer is not paying you 24/7 who are they to tell you if you can be topless in another country or not? I could see the point if you were working as a stripper or in playboy, but avoiding tan line? Over the line in my book. I realize that creeps or jerks occasionally end up at TTR but instead of taking matters into your own hands get the ent. staff or security. That is part of their jobs and if the pictures aren't of what you thought they were then you aren't the one forking over for a camera.
I agree with ya Dos, but im refraining from commenting on the Great camera debate, cuz i agree with both sides, i agree some people go above and beyond , but the debate could go forever
we're a photographer team, so i don't know about a total ban on cameras at the sexy pool. we like taking pics of us with new friends. there's nothing in the world like meeting new people, whipping out a camera, then taking a few shots while everyone's trying to wipe the buzz off their faces. it makes for great conversation later on, when you're having breakfast/lunch/dinner with them. some of you probably know what i mean as long as everyone's cool with what you've shot, that is... i WOULD support a total ban of cameras with long lenses at the pool though. there's no need for something like that there. out on the beach, maybe, yeah. but not at the pool. so maybe what they should do is... if you're taking underwater pictures of people's junk at the pool, or if you get caught at nice shoes with a camera, or if you take a long lens to the sexy pool (or even if you're caught using it from a room overlooking the pool), then you get your camera confiscated for the rest of the vacation. i don't know if they could DO that, and it wouldn't do anything for the guy who's leaving later that day or tomorrow. but it might send out a good message. of course, it would also take a little leg work from the guests, but we're all adults... the staff can't babysit us all day long, as nice as that would be. just my $0.02... ps: when we were at Desire, any time a camera came out, the photographer ALWAYS asked anyone around if they were ok with it. if anyone said no, the camera went away. and when i broke out the long lens on my camera, it was always pointed down until we got to where we were shooting (we had a room in the back, and there was no way to NOT go to a public area with it). i realize that it's a completely different crowd, but a total ban on cameras at the pool, in our opinion anyway, is a bit harsh.
Well, if someone invades my lady's privacy without her consent I can see myself tripping "by accident" and spilling drinks on his nice camera.. Hell, drinks are free
*L*.. the punishment should be to end up like the loser of crazy darts *LOL*... but instead you have to walk around the whole resort with a sign that says "I'm a loser with a camera"
