I generally try to stay out of camera debates. But let's not blame just single guys or talk about banning singles. Our April crowd had a number of single guys, all of whom were not only respectful, but great folks to hang with and certainly added a lot to the fun & enjoyment. Keith (Canadian Dos Equis), Jim (backs13), his buddy Walter, Chet, to name just a few. There are quite a few singles who are repeaters, some have been there many times. It's their resort too! I totally agree that people taking unwanted or inappropriate pix of strangers is wrong; the resort is aware of the issue and they're trying to deal with it (ie. no cameras at lingerie night). And when we were there in October, it was less of a problem than some prior visits. Unfortunately, it's tough to legislate common sense or respect.
FWIW out of the 3 creepy dudes we encountered throughout our week 2 were part of a couple and only one of those had a camera. That guy seemed to be showing his wife the pics he was trying to get on walk thru's with his phone in hand. I didn't notice him until I heard the girls plotting to put him in the pool. It really would have been funny to hear a grown man complaining that 5 hot topless girls wearing see thru strings threw him in the pool. Poor baby.
Here Here! Marilyn /Steve, couples that have been there with a spouse or girlfriend/Boyfriend could possible find themselves single .. wouldnt it be aweful if they couldnt go back to TTR as a single.. we have the same experience with single men and women.. its part of the fun.. and i dont believe that its the singles any more than couples that are taking unwanted pictures..
How's about a cold beer instead, if that'd be OK! Seriously, people rag on single guys unfairly; it's rude people that cause all the problems. Fortunately, it seems to be just a tiny percentage of people that cause the trouble.
I agree with you 100%... but we should note the comment was made by someone who appears to be a newbie.
