see my last trip report exactly they send everyone outside to patty ho's and keep all of us old f&*(^%$# me up all night with some miserable karaoke or a really crappy cover band - makes no sense whatsoever amazing rob
it's true that they close it down way too early but we all know that to try to encourage everyone to go off the resort and spend more money. *L*
When Desire first opened, we went on a day trip there from TTR. I've never been to Desire, Hedo or any other adult only hotel in the evening. What is the entertainment there like in the evenings? Surely, they're not running people out to the clubs like TTR. To the people that have been there, what's it like at night?
Think the entertainment at Desire is very speciallist I think. Going by the reports we've read, they have theme nights which seem very sexy. Not sure the entertainment there would be for the average TTR customer but we'd love to go. Trouble is they are already sold out for the 1st week in May 2010
We haven't been in over a year but the evening entertainment in the disco at Desire is titallating . Of course the disco is on the small side and gets hot (temperature wise)- but maybe that's so when clothes are shed (and they do) no-one gets chilly . After midnite, people start leaving the disco and head over to the rooftop hot tub, where it is even more titallating   The evening activities at the old nice shoes did have more adult participation events= anything goes (which morphed into a tamer "the quest", lingerie gambling nite and the mr. and mrs. BBG contests which are now held daytime and are very tame... it's a shame that the ET staff have allowed the evening activities to result in what they are today- we've seen more interesting stuff happen at Paty O's later in the evening than in nice shoes.... In 4 trips we were only able to stay in the “Disco” after the show once. That was when a group of us, led by the wife “seized control”. She practically crawled into the DJ’s booth and insisted on some decent music she could dance too. She and other female guests “expressed” themselves long enough for the DJ to change the music. Cal
no pics por favor I have to admit we have not been back to TTR since 2006 (when it was still BBG) because of the dreaded cameras. We miss our friends and the energy we have so far only found at TTR, but the cameras added a level of worry and stress that I just couldn't reconcile. Since then, we have been to another adults-only/couples-only resort that was beautiful, but subdued compared to TTR. Topless was permitted at the pool and beach, but only a few women were topless and while cameras were allowed, people seemed to stick to their own partner or group. We would rather relax than get into a confrontation and possibly see the inside of a Mexican jail.
