You're right, it has changed. Those that haven't experienced the old BBG can't appreciate how different it was. The proliferation of cameras have changed ambiance for most of us. I would like to get your feedback when you return from your trip in 9 days. Marsh
I would like to second that request for feedback. Heading there ourselves on 1/31. Take notes [and pics ] and have a great time! Thanks. Kurt:biggrinbandit:
The hotel has to start doing something about this before they start lossing guests over it. As europeans we're used to topless bathing everywhere and you NEVER see people taking sneaky pictures by the pool or beach in europe xxx
My girlfriend and I were there mid december. I'm not sure what can be done around the pool. I reported a creepy asshole to Chino who took things in his hands, thanks to him, because if i would have done it myself, might have get ugly (i'm usually not someone who look for trouble, but...). My biggest problem is in the nice shoes especially on lingerie night because something could easily be done. A guy and his wife (dressed normally, obv.) were taking picture and filming my girlfriend and I both in string, and all I was able to think was : "I dont get why i cant see your ass for 2 seconds but you can own mine forever ???" Why does an idiot who didn't even get the trouble to put on a pyjama or some kind of short and did not participate in any way or form really need a naked picture of me to remember that great night and the fun he had ? My girlfriend and I have been dancing butt naked the whole night, and had fun anyway, but in a "picture-safe place" we would have given a better show !!! Camera should, at least, be prohibited for people who didn't dress for the occasion (or accepted only the first 10 minutes or whatever for everyone). Only my 2 cents
really.. until management decides to go back to banning cameras from those events there's not much you can do. I would suggest that if you're being bothered in Nice Shoes by some person with a camera then do the same as at the pool. Bring it to Chino's attention and he'll take care of it.
I agree. My best shot is to write it here and hope those who think likewise will be vocal about it too. I cant say I was bothered since its ok to have a camera in there. BUT... Here's how the lingerie night looked like. 20 persons are in lingerie, thongs, etc...and they play casino. Unluckily for the ladies , no i did not get the extra chip for being naked, RE:camera :icon_frown:. 80 persons dressed casually, are sitting around us wildly taking picture like we are some zoo animals !!! None of these 80 people did play casino (you had to be properly dressed). NONE of them did go on the dance floor during that night. You read it well none out of 80 persons dressed casually did go to dance even 1 song. So they dont dress like the event recomend, they dont participate in the game, they dont dance or make the party more fun for anyone, but they so much need pictures to remember their "wild night" ? Just feel akward. As for the girlfriend and I, we were on the dance floor the whole night, showing her killer legs and cute butt for the viewing pleasure of many men...and women ! There's one thing I can do. Instead of 80 persons taking picture of the other 20, i might make it 82 who take pictures of the other 18...let's hope the other 9 couples dont reach the same conclusion !
Well as one of the couples who always dresses in theme or should we say undresses in theme we can see where you are coming from! We wouldn't become one of those 80 boring unimaginative people for anything... Don't change your fun time for them and let the rest of us participators know the next time you are headed to TTR and we will all participate together! Cheers Faye & Rick :lotsofmichaelfs:
Last year was an amazing nite at lingerie casino nite. I'd say out of 100, at least 80 got dressed for the event(which i admit is unusual) and it was fun. I was dressed and every time i took pictures it was with permission from whomever i was photographing.
cameras Hey guys, Yeah this issue has been on going for years and years... I guess I dont even really know much about it on one hand, cuz i always go and the first thing i do is make friends and mingle and start having a blast... so by the third day or so when the camera comes out, its with permission and recipricated... i couldnt imagine not having the pictures that i have, and ive kept in contact with many of the people that are in them... So i agree with many and most of the people on here about the camera debate, as long as they dont ban cameras all together... when are you guys going
