We have been twice and love the resort but hate the cameras. We saw pervs taking pics of the guests without permission and had to get Chinos and security involved. We would play games if there was no cameras, so therefore we might not go back till cameras are banned, and alot of couples we met felt the same way. What happens at the resort should stay at the resort!! Great topic!!
and... somehow you think that banning cameras will stop this??? As I said before, nearly EVERY cellphone you buy that can work internationally has a camera on it. You can't really ban cellphones, and since there's a few out there with swivel mounted cameras, do you really think that people with them will be caught using them to snap pics??? no... they won't. It's pretty much up to the guests to police it, but there's still no way anyone can stop it. Netbooks have cameras, there's teeny webcams that can be used, all sorts of methods for people that REALLY want to take pics on the sly to take 'em. We just have to police it ourselves. Honestly, what's the chance that someone could snap a pic of -you- and have you up on a site like www.peopleofwalmart.com ???
Backes I agree..Taking pictures of people you don't know is so creeepy. But they should never ban cameras... I have a blast taking pictures of the group we are with or fun people that we meet and party with. All people need to do is respect other people's privacy and everyone would have fun. We have a lot of pictures of friends we have met through our 4 trips there, and we would never share any of them without their knowledge or permission. We would hate to not have our pictures to help us remember all of the great times and fun people we have met.
It's just like the gun debate...If you ban guns the only people that will have guns will be the crooks. If you ban cameras the only ones that will have cameras will be the perves. Use common sense & respect ones privacy Scott
Also...Just got Liz a new waterproof camera for Christmas, so bring on the fun at the pool bar....lol
Just because I left you a few momentos on your camera doesn't mean anything Ya know me Dave...couldn't resisit, lol.
Why can't we all lighten up a bit and relax. Vacations are for relaxation. :lotsofmichaelfs: If the camera issue is really a big deal, maybe another resort would be more your liking. Topless photos:flash: taken out of your Country, while on vacation, should not be a deal breaker. It would be nice if 100% of people could do the right thing but that's not gonna happen. Some [not all] more risque activity :3some: , :bj: other than being topless should probably [your personal prefrence] be performed away from the public view of a potential perverted photographer. I have never found public cameras to be an actual serious issue. This is all just my opinion and I respect all others posted here as well.:daveandmo:
