True... Maybe changing it from a slider to a french door would be better on that side though... It feels rather embarrassing for people when it doesn't work, and people never know if its closed on purpose or accident...
Revolving door - like seen in nicer hotels up North. Even cold cities like Chicago have these and the lobbies say warm and outside is below freezing. One would think it could work the other way with the AC on as well as provide some forgiveness for drunks who just walk up and push lol
Would now be too soon? God I wish!!!!!! As previously stated....NOVEMBER 2014 otherwise we are not the Sexy Sinaholics. Joining more than one group is good for your social life....not so much for your liver....but your social life for sure! REally can't wait to do it again!
I'm at TTR right now. A new high rise where it's rumored would NOT block winter sun over the sexy pool. That's not even close to where the sun goes over the pool. New chairs and seating in Paty O and Nice Shoes today. Several rooms getting maintenance on our block. LOTS OF REPAINTING. The new Premiere seating behind the previous row of deck chairs frees up much more seating for all members. Deep breath people it's a vacation.
This is my two cents.... the more people talk about the future of TTR the more people seem to rally up to go over to GOV. Would be nice if some of those that are down there during the renovations could send some pics along to let the rest of us curious ones see what is really going on. Competition is good for any industry and perhaps these renovations are the start of some much needed upgrades that TTR needs to compete competitively. GOV as any new place will offer lower rates to get people to try them but who knows what the rates will be once they too get a steady client base coming year over year...
If it is in 2 years, even if they do a complete shut-down for a year or so.... ..... there's always the new GOV, right? Right!
Somebody there said no, but I know that at 4;20 pm in Jan the sun is behind the 3 story rooms. Sun travels in an arc and would seem to pass behind the buffet area but up higher. Add a tower over the buffet and ???? Time will tell. Will be nice to go back when everything is done and test it out.
