8) Terri, I dont think the urge will go away for me. I drive in my car and think should I stop to get a pack. But I dont. Who knows maybe in time it will go away. But like I said the hard test is over. Having a beer with out a smoke. crazymike and diane
Mike, I feel the same way. I know it will go away. Sometimes, out of nowhere, I'll think of having one, and the urge is so strong, that I get bummed I can't have one. Just think of it like, you CAN have one any time you want. You CHOOSE not to though. We have both come too far to go back now. You are right, the big test was drinking. Now I can go to BBG as a non smoker and not worry. Good luck today...stay strong!! Terri
     You're all doing GREAT!!!! I'm SO PROUD of all of you! (and the Steelers...LOL!) :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy:
Great job guys!! Yeah my test was yesterday when I played a round of golf and didnt have a one. My jaw hurt from chewing gum but I didnt give in!! Its amazing!!! One day at a time. Today is my day 18 Matt
You know what it IS way easier this time. I have that mind-set that I am a non-smoker now so its not even an option anymore. I feel really good and so far I have tested every weakness of mine and seemed to be OK. One must not get over confident and take one day at a time. But I feel this time is the one. Lord knows I dont want to go through hell week again. PLUS who wants to post a message that I gave up??? We have to keep each other going and excited about quitting. Matt day 18
Matt, you are so right. I don't want to post that I smoked. I'm still amazed that I'm doing this and not giving in. After 26 years, I guess it was long overdue. Working on day 10 tomorrow. Terri
8) Well today was very hard. The f--urge would not stop. And I mean all day. But did not give in(thank god). But it came very close. tomorrow will be 9 days, And I hope it will become endless. Crazymike and Diane
