Thanks Angie! That's great that Matt has quit. Tell him to be careful because for me one cigarette will start the addiction again. This forum is really full of super nice people. Hopefully, I'll get to meet some of you guys in the future in Cancun. We stay at the Gran Costa Real. I think a lot of you stay at BBG, which is right down the beach from us! We'll be there May 2 -16
Donna, I know what you mean. I've gained more weight than I should have. In fact, I'm going to have to buy bigger clothes, because none of last years clothes will fit. But you know what? It's still a hell of a lot better than smoking. I've lost weight before, and I'll do it again. If not before May, then after. I'm sick of beating myself up about it. It really does help to talk to people who are in the same boat.
I know what you mean about the weight thing. But I guess it's much better to be a bit chubby than to walk around with an oxygen tank, eh?
Im so proud of all you guys .. o CrazyMike im rooting for you Sweetie!!!! :bounce: :bounce3: :bounce2: :claphappy:
Hola! OK it's been 24 hours, so far so good. I'm drinking coffee now and fighting the urge. If you are/were a smoker you know coffee goes hand in hand with a cigarette. I'm gonna exercise now, and try to clear my lungs! Later, donna
That was the hardest part for me Donna. The first thing I did right after I woke up, is get my coffee, and a cigarette. That first morning I was lost. You're doing a great job, keep it up!!
Thanks, Karan! Hey Terri! So far, so good. I am trying to eat fresh fruit and drink lots of water. Although I just ate an apple and got the craving for nicotine...it shall pass. donna
