Thanks Lowrider! I'm sure you can feel my pain as you have smoked as long as I have.

Congrats on your 41 days! I've got 2 hours...I'm doing this one minute at a time!

I hope you are doing okay after your surgery! Yeah, how dare they not have a smoking lounge! Hey, do you remember the days when you could smoke in your room in the hospital?

Where is Murphy, NC? I live in WV and we travel through NC several times a year. Love that Lexington barbecue!

You guys are great! Terri, I gave up on the PM thing. Maybe when the nicotine crap gets out of my brain for a while I'll think better LOL!

My biggest concern is the weight gain. I just lost 10 lbs. and am back down to bikini size 8) but I know I will start eating like crazy again. I've got 49 days till Cancun so I'm gonna try to think positive and beat this thing!

It really helps having people to "talk" to who know what you're going through.

    Thanks, Janie!

In a way, I have to thank you for inspiring me. I read what you posted about Norb and it really got me thinking. I'm so glad he's okay!

I think Paul will quit also....he's got the flu right now so it's the perfect time for him to ditch the cigs. It is a lot easier when both of us quit, but if he's not ready, that's ok.

    Donna,
Good Luck! You can do it...it will be hard, but that's what all challenges are. We are all here to support you. I personally do not smoke, but my husband Matt (golfingguru) has been trying to be smoke free. Since Nov. 18th, he has only had 3 cigs., but that is better then a pack a day.

We are here for you Donna,
    Angie
