Re: Hmmmm good old smoking This sounds like that cigarette character on Doonesbury...Mr. Butts is it? I personally think that it takes great strength to give up smoking. I think that you will find in this instance, the quitter is actually the winner. Nothing illustrates the dangers of smoking more than a person struggling to breathe with emphysema or better yet a person sucking on a cigarette through a stoma (surgically inserted hole in a person's trachea). Except for maybe the countless number of deaths attributed to smoking every year. For those who continue to smoke...think about it. You can do it if you really want it (better health, more money, sense of smell again). For those who have chosen to give it up...keep up the good work. You already seem to be reaping the benefits of being smoke-free. We are proud of you.
