One thing the youth may not know is! A lot of the so called older one's was not old enough to vote to be in the european union.
Steve, Do you expect the EPL to suffer due to Brexit? There are only so many work permits allowed, and many of the stars are from outside the UK, I figure it will impact on the quality of English footie.
Not 100% sure on EPL rules re foreign players, but don't expect it to suffer. Many EPL players are from outside the EU and seem to have few problems getting permission to play, providing they are World Class. Also Non EU players get granted Investor status if they have £1 Mill or more they can invest in the UK. Maybe that will extend to EU players eventually. I don't think any already established EU players will fail to meet that requirement. In a broader context: There will always be a place for highly skilled and/or rich immigrants to live and work/invest in the UK regardless of nationality and, in the case of footballers, if they are not the best they wouldn't be wanted by the top clubs anyway. Not too much different for engineers, computer scientists etc.
So it has been 106 weeks since the big decision to leave. What is the damn hold-up? Get on with it already. And why is it not a news item anymore?
It's still all over the news... in the UK. It's being watered down so much it's going to be nothing like what was voted for. EU playing hardball, opposition parties and rebels frustrating progress at every attempt. Ridiculous.
Thanks Steve....I knew you'd have info. It is crickets in our media about it. Never see or hear anything about it anymore. Seems ever since The Donald won the Oval Office. ...other than world disasters, he dominates the International news cycle. Almost seems like a kid that is gonna run away...but never actually makes it even to the sidewalk
