I like The Reds. Win or Lose.. Once upon a time, I could tell you every single person on the team lol, but have lost touch past few years.. I'm gonna go see them play this year though, then go over to Lawrenceburg, In to gamble a little.... I want to go May 6th or 7th to watch them play The Cubbies, but can't talk my Mom into going with me.. I'll more than likely end up going in July or September to watch the play The Pirates though... Anyone wanna go?
Can't say that superstition doesn't play it's part in baseball. How about the construction worker burying the Ortiz jersey in the cement at the new Yankees Stadium... and then the Yankees having it excavated? :lol: Talk is that they are going to donate the jersey for charity. Hmmm, wonder what will bring more money... that jersey or Bartman's ball (RIP)? Ha!
thats a good story about the jersey i read that the other day... funny thing about Bartman is that Moises Alou admitted recently that he would not have even caught the ball haha
Damn glad that the B-NYY series is over, so that Sportscenter can go back to covering the rest of the sports. I DO NOT CARE about either of those teams, and most of the country does not care either.
I can understand how you feel that way. Its awsome for us who are fans. and live in this part of the country. But its got to say something if ESPN decides to put so much coverege on that series over everything else, they must know what brings ratings all around the country. just think..... they only have to play each other 15 more times!!!!
It's not like there is any sense in talking about teams like the Cardinals :lol: :lol: I think the rest of the country would like not to care.....but they do. The Yankees get boo'ed in every stadium they go to. And those stadiums always sell a hell of a lot more tickets when the Yankees are in town. I agree about Boston though. I don't like them and neither should anyone else with half a brain.
