The Halftime Show act has nothing to do with who is at the game. The NFL and the networks do not make their money off of who is at the game.

The reason that all of these classic rock (and classic Pop - Prince) are booked is because they are safe and marketable. They appeal to the people that spend the money. The NFL doesn't want to see Kanye go off on another tantrum onstage, Akon toss someone else into the crowd, Snoop fire up a blunt on national TV, Janet lose the other half of her top.

It's all business, money, and image.

i only sw my first ever superbowl game this past january cause we went to a party. i just dont get american football and it so doesnt interset me, and i cant be arsed to watch it. i dont follow the season why would i watch the superbowl? just my though
