Hi there I'm, as last year again in the lucky position 2 enjoy TWO WEEKS of Springbreak! ;-) Now, I determined this years peek-week to March 08-15. But should I rather append the one extra week BEFORE or AFTER peek week? Means: 02. - 16. or 08. - 22.? Last year, the week just after peek-week was _really_ quite... :roll:
I know the other guys who are going for 2 weeks are going from the 2nd to 16th of March. Timmy has a crew of about 14 doing this. Im also going for 2 weeks but 9-16March in Cancun and then 17-23March in Playa Del Carmen. And I have a crew of around 30.
Id say after peak week, rather than before!! Things will be going on, the weeks leading up to peak week are generally getting ready for peak week and there after!!
Before is better....I have had the privelage of my trip overlapping both before and after in 2006 and 2007 and after peak week it seems to DIE where as if its before you can treat it as a build up to the peak week and its been busier when we've been too
Id deffinatly say before mtv was here few days before peak week and a few concerts after the previous 2 years it totally dies off and its mainly locals out at night and what not1
