Is there anywhere around Cancun that does tours of their Tequila making facilities or tasting? We'd love to try it out one of these times we're there.

As far as I know, tequila is made in the State of Jalisco, so you won't find any of these facilities in Cancun. However, there is a restaurant in the hotel zone called La Destileria that has a small tequila museum with more brands than you can imagine. You can walk through it on your own but they also offer guided tours at various times during the day. You can also order tequila samples in the restaurant. La Destileria is located across from Kukulcan Plaza around Km 12.5.
