Oh darn. I must have misunderstood one of the above posts where someone mentioned fishing and then having the TTR crew cook it for them. It must have been on a different boat, not the TTR one.
april 13-21 (gold member) we're looking for ppl who want to go. going to book it asap when we get thier fri. went on it last time i was down and had a great time,can't wait !!
I believe we would be interested.. How many couples need to be on the boat to make it feesable? Is it just a cruise for 4 hours or does the yacht stop somewhere? What date were you thinking?
not sure on the day yet won't know for sure till we find out when it's open to book it. last time we took it out they kept pushing are time back till are last day. but i belive now they have 2 and working on getting a 3rd yacht. last time they said we can have up too 12ppl. it goes into the lagoon area both in cancun and out on the island,then you get to go swimming off of north beach.
Im going to email them this week to ask these questions about possibly fishing off the yacht..if this isnt possible, then Im sure we can arrange for a charter and split costs that way. Thats what we did in Cabos, the membership guys hooked us up with a charter and they even personally drove us to the spot in their own car lol. Im glad the two guys who owned the boat did all the baiting..I would not feel comfortable doing that lol. It was nice to just be able to grab the pole and reel it in....so as long as I have you men to help me out I have no problem going fishing again So lets get a nice group togethere and go fishing and then bring in what we catch for a nice lunch or dinner back at the resort!
Emailed Temptations a couple weeks back.. no answer yet.. we will look into it when we check in on Wed
Late in on this thread, missed it first time around. You wont be able to fish off the yacht. The area it cruises is a National Park and no fishing is allowed. The fishing areas are about 10 -20 miles north of Isla Mujeres and the charters use high speed purpose built boats to get there. If anyone does want to rent a private charter for groups of 6/8 or shared if solo or less than 6 then let me know, I can fix it up plus get you a discount leaving from the dock right by Temptation.
We are members and will be their May 2nd to 8th. Never taken the yacht out yet but would be interested in going on a 4 hour tour.
