So shame on us for waiting too long to book. Prices for Temptations are sooo much more than Secrets so we will give Secrets a try. Thanks for all your comments!
If you had a "good time" at Temptation, then, by all means, go to Secrets and have a good, long nap. That's what you'll get.
that's why when we do a split trip like this time we always make TTR the "last resort" on the itinerary. Only downside to that is the couple first days of work after the trip we kinda feel like shit
We went to Breathless in Punta Cana during the Temptation renovation. Beautiful resort. Everyday in the pool people were very much spread out and definitely wanted to keep to themselves. Although it was promoted as topless optional, any woman who took her top off would be stared at, pointed at and whispered about. The night life was about what you’d expect...and was a little more fun because Courtney brought along some of her Temptation evening wear and we ran into a few other Temptation regulars there. All in all, it was about the best we were going to get while Temptation was closed. There’s no way we’d choose an adult only vanilla resort over Temptation. I know we’d be disappointed in Secrets.
Food, service, rooms, grounds & decor at Secrets will be top notch, you'll see. What you won't see is people having a really good time, I think. Still, vacation is vacation, so you two can make it your own party. Feel free to get stared at, pointed at and whispered about... that is good fun in its own right.
Been to Secrets its a very good resort and relaxing time if that what you looking for in your vacation . You kind of have kind of decide do you want to sip wine or do shots topless. Nothing wrong with it but If you looking for shots Secrets isn't the place.
I did the exact same thing. I went there with a girlfriend, so you can imagine the looks we got! I didn't wear a top at the pool for 5 days though. I wasn't going to let them spoil my fun! I met a lot of guys, but their wives were quick to come get them and drag them back where they belonged!
