Winning reply. Too bad they cant all be this polite. We are leaving for TTR tomorrow for our 9th trip, and we LOVE it! But, we also understand how some people, especially younger couples, want to experience different things/sights/places. We've tried other adult resorts, and no matter how nice, always left bored to death. But are glad we at least have different experiences. Dont care for the relpies that say..."How could you want to go anywhere else?" Well, maybe because they arent you?? 24 hours to paradise!!!!!!!!
Did not know about the allows kids thing. If you still have kids and need family vacations I understand. Our kids are raised and did many many kid vacations with Disney topping the list 20-30 times...I have lost count!!! If I ever hear “Its a Small World” ever again I will kill myself! We do have grandkids and have seperate vacations with family. TTR is OUR vacation hence my bias...just like several others. If we ever get tired of it or too old or debilitated to enjoy it we will seek other places. But hey, the quiet side/pool are only steps away. The best of both worlds
We booked our May dates a couple of weeks back. Since we were at TTR in October, we were looking for something different this time. We looked mostly at Cancun, PdC and Jamaica. Breathless, Hard Rock, Royal in PdC and the Couples resorts in Jamaica. Adults Only was a must, which Hard Rock is not. We went with Couples Swept Away in Negril. I have great memories of 7-mile beach many moons ago. Swept Away doesn't have the Au Natural areas that the sister resorts have but does have the best beach. Price was right too. May 19-26.
Yeah totally get the need for variety. We are doing the Greek isles in June. Hoping for club party fun at night and euro style sunbathing by day
If it is better Rooms, restaurants, beach, and pools you want, why not Desire Pearl. Nothing compares to the sexy pool, but also nothing compares to the hot tubs at both Desire resorts. For my money Temptation and Desire are the only two choices. Alcohol choices at Desire are way better. Many women go topless only at Desire, if that is a problem. Do what makes YOU comfortable.
