Temptations Entertainment Lacking

I think you are missing what most everyone is saying. The general consensus is that people don't really care about the games. It's cool that you do. Since that matters to you I totally understand your concern. Most people seem to feel that with or without them it would be a great day. Honestly, sometimes the games are distracting to good ol' fashioned body shots and flirty fun.

The entertainment staff have changed A LOT in 2014. I trust that they will get a great group in there.

Whatever staff happens to be working their when we go is fine with us...we dont go for them..we go for the people, the sun, the nightlife and because we work hard and deserve every vacation we go on. Bitchin about the small things are so petty..

 

You are a long term temptations guest. So you probably have seen and done it all.

What about for us newer people? Do you think the entertainment staff plays a large role in their enjoyment at the resort?

I see what everyone is saying about "making their own good time".

But why can't we "make our own good time" at any other all inclusive resort.

I believe the unique aspect to temptations is the entertainment, sexy pool, etc. Without this aspect, there is a big weakness present.

I am sure a lot of people will disagree with this point of view, especially the long term members.

So I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

I plan on going back to temptations for a 3rd time.

I am just hoping that the crowd and entertainment is hyped up.

 

:deadhorseon't want to sound like a middle of the roader, but I can see both sides to this conversation. I believe that the staff has a big impact on the mood of the resort. If it didn't the resort wouldn't have an entertainment staff. Steve could save a lot of money if he didn't pay Chinos to help set the tone of the party. But then it wouldn't be a Boobs Cruise would it? It would just be another clothing optional boat serving boos. I have been to Temptations twice and both times I really enjoyed the staff and felt they added to my experience there. If they hadn't the resort wasted their money paying them. Having said that the best time we had was with friends we met while there. While there was no staff around.

 

Best thing said in this entire thread. If you seen the game before and see in needs some help jump in and help them out.
They will appreciate it and you will have a lot more fun.

 

We was just there from Aug.1-6 for the first time. To be honest, we didn't care less who was talking on the mic cause that wasn't the reason why we came. They were ok but who cares, you are having shots and meeting great people. If people are looking for an entertainment staff, I am sure there is a circus close by.

 

People come, people go. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it not. Bottom line, as with anything, it's what you make of it. Some people will have a great time if they're in the hospital, others will have a lousy time at Disneyworld.

 

The reason I say that you work for a competitive resort is that you have no pictures, no friends and almost all your comments are negative. You say you have been to TTR twice, yet on 5/4/2014 you posted "I am new to this Web site. I just recently heard about Temptations Resort." Sorry, just smells fishy.

 

We are going for first time to TTR in September. We have been to Cancun many times. We are going to TTR because of the "party atmosphere" that has been discussed/advertised. We have met new people at every resort we have gone to in Cancun or elsewhere. We try not to meet strangers. I agree that the staff can certainly draw in those that are more reserved and get the whole crowd involved and this sometimes helps introduce new people into groups. Some people just need a nudge. But those who have said you are responsible for your own good or bad time are exactly right. Nothing like sitting in Hawaii or some other great spot and listening to the guy at the table next to you griping about his coffee, towels, etc. Are you kidding me? You are on vacation and lots of people cannot travel to the other side of town. Life is short, make the most of it.
