I have been to TTR several times. The guests add most to whether the mood will be fun or just so. I was there one week while Sarah and the gang was there and the guests were just not movin. Finally mid week more people came I'm sure some of the boring left and it was a hoppin place. So it is the chemistry of the resort that makes it

I still had a good time but I don't think the resort is worth it without better entertainment. That's the big drawing point.

The crowd may have been different than the first time as well. So that might giving me a false impression.

I had a lot of fun at my first visit. I wanted to go back soon but the second time seemed lacking.

    Dunno. Am I really wrong?

It's definitely a bit of both. We always come for a minimum of 14 nights (being such a long flight) and the vibe can change dramatically with groups coming and going. BUT I do believe you have to have a good entertainment team to stir up the crowd and get the action moving. We aren't going to do it ourselves. I personally am quite happy to sit back and watch the action, but have been gently "bullied" on more than one occasion to join in, and have been glad that I have. If the staff aren't bothered, neither am I.

Its the people that make a trip, we also went in May. The staff was ok, Amy was still there but left shortly after. Really like Jules but she now has left also. But it does take time for new staff to adjust.

But we had the best time partying with the new and old friends we met, not soley on the entertainment staff.

I agree. I had fun as well.

But the question remains. Is it worth going to temptations if the entertainment is weak? There are better all inclusive resorts in terms of food, beaches, etc for the same price.

The reason I paid the money to go with my gf was for fun. The Boobs Cruise saved my entertainment day.

Would the Boobs Cruise be good without the entertainment? Of course not.

I think people might be getting a little defensive about this subject. I know a lot of people I this site have gone to temptations many times and don't want to say anything bad.

I am not trying to say this to be nasty, I am offering constructive criticism.

We have just returned from a fantastic vacation and find the new staff to be fun and good hearted.. No problems whatsoever... Boring is in the eye of the beholder!

Most people go for the atmosphere which it dependant on the other guests. We were also there in May and thought JJ was doing good job, I did like Jules but if they decide to leave what can the resorts do hold them hostage. We just have to get behind the next entertainers and help them develop into the next great entertainer. We remember when Sarah69 joined and she had to grow into role and boy did she do it.

The people are what make the place.

If the geusts are going to sit there and act like they are at a church social, chances are chinos wont wake them up.

The ents staff can only do so much, and can only work with what they have.

The vibe will change weekly as the new geusts rotate in and the old out, how many times have we heard a cpl of diiferent reports , completely opposite within a few days of one another.
