    Regarding re-doing the rooms by the quiet pool - I'm sure there's always a chance that their permits don't get approved or something else falls through with the project. I doubt they lost much income as they're typically not anywhere near full in Sept. or early October. Plus it probably didn't cost them much for the redo of the rooms...

    My interpretation is that they are acquiring the land next door and will be expanding and not closing...... or only closing the current property partially. Plus, I don't think it would make sense to shut down completely for an extended period of time when you have multiple pools and a property footprint that that is big enough to stay operational... at least for your premiere members.

    1. What was the nature of the work? Maybe the rooms were unsuable due to some problem, and taking them out of service for a week to ensure they are serviceable for the next 8 months would be a wise move. Maybe the hotel wasnt full enough for them to be occupied anyway.

    2. I think most businesses are about the bottom line aren't they? I cant see them keeping any part of the hotel open if this goes ahead, it will be a pile of rubble from quiet pool to boat dock. I dont think folks have yet got the concept of how big this project is. Leasing another hotel and transferring the concept temporarily, as previously mentioned, would give them a temporary alternative to kind of operate during the down time.

    I will add another thing, I mentioned in my TR the repainting of the 5000's block and not just repainting, but jackhammering the shit out of the exterior walls and sanding them smooth, before painting. Why, if they are tearing it down in several months?

    Of course I believe anything Steve says to be credible, but from my observations the way this place is run, much of this doesn't make sense to me.

    Sounds good. Last week was the first week I was ever at TTR where I think there were actually MORE single girls than single guys. I know, crazy. I counted 2 or 3 BACHLORETTE parties. No single guy issues at all. Either they were not there or we are getting too old to now be single guy targets lol

    We've had so much fun on our three TTR Trips. I always believe, that all good things must come to an end. Maybe this is the end of TTR for a lot of us, or maybe not. Time will tell. I'm not optimistic that this is a good thing, I would have rather seen room and mechanical renovations rather than what is being planned currently.

    There was one SUPER creepy guy. Strange and weird. He didn't approach which was nice but he stared all day without sunglasses. It was super obvious. If you are gonna be a creeper at least put sunglasses on LOL
