I've been going there, and a member, for over 10 years. Great summary. I've always thought of myself to be aware of who I'm around. I've never encountered the "swinger thing", but wasn't looking for it either. We were in one of the pool Jacuzzis near the end of our trip, talking with 3 couples we hung out with for a week. The subject came up, and we found out all 3 couples were swingers. We are not, but that goes to show that it doesn't happen all around you. We had no idea until it came up.
great report. I too (Mrs) was very concerned when we booked and was shell shocked on arrival...took a bit to loosen up. But after loosening up had a blast and made friends that we have continued to stay in touch with and meet up with each November. We had vets that took us in and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We try to do that too. When we see a couple standing to the side looking shell shocked we go up to them, introduce them to others etc. When we meet people here on this site, we tell them how to find us and come meet us. Love the place and don't want to have my Adult Spring Break anywhere else
Agreed, great job Bob & Angela. This encapsulates TTR very well !!! Our 1st time was Nov 2014. It wasn't until after we got back to Toronto that my wife told me she was EXTREMELY nervous about going because she thought the resort was like Hedonism or a swingers convention, regardless of how much I tried to dispel that idea. We loved it ! Became Premier members, talk about TTR daily, countdown the days to our May trip on the daily, shopping for new outfits, etc. etc. Stay thirsty my friends !
