We are booked to arrive on the 18th but are getting nervous about the potential major hurricane expected to hit the area on the 19th. I'm sure we will end up just canceling if the forecast continues to look like it does now, but does anyone have any experience being at Temptation during a hurricane?
I’m supposed to fly Friday morning and I’m looking at the same forecasts you are. I’ve read post-hurricane reviews in the past on how “they took great care of us…” & the like. However for me, even considering flying into that kind of forecast seems irresponsible, Mexico infrastructure barely copes with an average day, unless that storm fizzles, it’s looking to cover the whole peninsula…I’d rather be a rescuer than the rescued. I’ll check Friday evening but it’s looking pretty grim right now.
Latest forecast has the tropical storm heading well South of Cancun. No hurricane- May get some rain but can't stop the party.. See everyone Sunday....
