We haven’t cancelled yet, may 23-30, booked through Expedia they are that far out yet , still dealing with March and April bookings , don’t want to go to an empty resort , it’s the people that make it what it is!!! Giving it a few more weeks I guess
We haven't cancelled yet either. Even though we are in New York but upstate, Oswego County no cases as of this morning. Waiting I think til the end of April to decide. If we have to cancel then maybe August for my birthday if possible, it will be the big one 65 years young!!!
Yes, I see no reason to cancel 6 to 8 weeks out. A lot can change then. Temptation is prioritizing giving everyone as much bang for their buck as possible. For example, Desire will probably not re-open (if TTR does shut down for some days or a few weeks) as soon as TTR does so they will be there to party with us. And as the # 0f reservations decreased they shut down the older trendy garden areas first, the Towers will prolly be the last to close and first to reopen. If airlines re-instate and borders re-opened the LAST thing we want is for the hotel to have to wait to open due to low numbers. So keep those reservations in the meantime please! Cuz if I'm goin' I swear it's gonna be a spicy time!!
We are scheduled to go the 21st - 26th. As of right now we are playing it by ear. That is still 2 months away so we have a sliver of hope.
I agree a lot can happen before May 19th 2020. This thing could go as fast as it started (let's hope anyways) Hope everyone in our TTR family stays safe and WE WILL PARTY AGAIN SOON!! Sorta like the southern saying the south will rise again!! Here in NY even upstate we are sorta in a lock down situation been that way for about 1 week now YUCK!! Long ways to go unfortunately but I'm a tough old broad and will survive. Thank goodness we live out in a very rural area and can still at least go outside!! STAY SAFE AND SANE PLEASE!! Cancelling our plans due to this craziness. Hopefully we can try again next spring! Looking forward to a different kind of crazy!
