There's a lot of factor in play now. Price... the new hotel design... Pools too Big... Games that made TTR fun are slowly dying do to no one playing them. Plus they are being told to calm the games down. Entertainment staff literally have to beg people to join. I've seen games cancelled do to no one joining in. It's got to the point where they played a game called " Catch the Stick " . That's crazy! I remember playing Crazy Darts, Couples Games, Scavenger Hunt! Music is the worst and I don't see them changing anytime soon. With all this being said! I do still LOVE TTR for Amazing people & staff that I meet.
We were drafted into the creative "body shots" contest the day we arrived on our first trip and had no idea what we were getting into! LOL That was at the old TTR. Sure miss that game.........
Yes!! The Old TTR was a BLAST!!! You get caught doing a Body Shot! It means a Yellow or Red card with possibility of getting kicked out!
I'm thinking that "might" be misleadingly accurate. As WildOnes said above, longtime repeaters to old-Temptation may not be returning like before due to many reasons... such as the price increases, the way the reno changed the environment, the apparent changes in the atmosphere and entertainment, demographic targeted and so on. But, I can tell you the resort is still full, it's just full of new and different people. To us, it's still at the top, very minimum top 3, of our favorite places anywhere to go. May wil be fine without those folks, though we'll miss them. We'll be meeting the new folks and all will be well.
Oh, there've been plenty of body shots had still at TTR, though they don't let you just get up on the bar anymore, nor are you supposed to be getting them below the waist (I think that's the rule). But, if you're quick, you can still get it done, especially right there on the side of the pool instead of over at the bar. Just takes planning.
I agree there is multiple things causing the reduction in people ( including price)but we have been going for 9 years so we do in fact know what it USE to be like and it’s nothing like that anymore
I talked some friends of mine into checking out TTR, they were looking for a quick trip next week. Their names are Dino and Madison. Hes a tall tan silver fox, she's a beautiful blond young lady. I'm trying to convince them to come with me and Joe next April, but they had to see it for themselves first. I talked it up so well he couldn't wait to go.
Wait...what?? No body shots??!! how about sipping them slowly poured across boobs? That was the preferred mode at Desire...it’s customary for Cancun.
