We actually are sitting here trying to decide too. I saw a lab across the street from the hotel but man it is risky. We are about 30 minutes north of Flint.
It’s not the cost or the tests that we are worried about. The possibility of a positive test would be no bueno for keeping our jobs.
As much as we don't want to, I think we're pulling the plug until September or later. First the TTR Cruise, now this. It's going to be dead and we miss the cutoff to use our positive test results by 1 week. We're going to scramble and find some place in the sun domestically. Here's our KIK if you want to say hello Shenanigans7777 Paul & Magan
I don't think it's going to be dead. and your chances of contracting covid are probably far higher here in the US than in Cancun...
I don’t think it will be dead either, but to say you’re less likely there to catch it is a little optimistic. No masks, very close proximity, touching, hugging, kissing. Not that it doesn’t happen at home, but it happens a lot more there.
But it's almost all open air, the pools are outside, the nightclub is outside, many restaurants are open air. And you're getting out of the US that has the highest percentage of sick people not wearing masks. I see employees here all the time with the mask down or worn wrong. Not so at Temptation where their temperature is taken daily. This is not the argue about covid thread please so let's not divert it, thx.
