Temptation Pics (password protected solution)

I think all of us have been frustrated by the process of trying to post pictures of our trips that have to be edited pretty heavily or get pulled by the powers that be from some of the free sites. I've wrestled with how to help people post pics on a controlled basis. What I came up with is a dedicated Fotki site. The address is http://public.fotki.com/temptationpics. My idea is that if you want post pictures to this site, you can set up an album that will be password protected and you can provide the password to whomever you so Desire, but only you will be able to provide that password.

How this will work is that you will have to send me an e-mail at telling me the name of the album and what password you want me to set up. The email address is temptationpics@fotki.com. I'll set up the album and the password. You can then e-mail the pictures and they will go into the album. You can provide the password to anyone you want, but only you will be providing any passwords. Let me know what you think about this idea.

Is there a bulk uploader?

Even us nerdy old accountants have to have some fun. :lol: It is tough to find a spot for the pocket protectors at BBG, though.

On a more instructional note, if someone wants to load up more than one album or many pics it can be done. The idea behind this is that this forum and this resort has kind a special following. Even dorky accountant types can fit in. I've gotten a lot of information and even saved some time and enhanced my fun quotient courtesy of the folks here and I thought this might be a good way to provide a servide that all of us could use. As someone said in one of the threads, it's too bad that we can't put up our pics for only our fellow BBGers. Well, now we can.

Let me clarify something. The passwords will only be provided by the owners of the albums. This way anyone can post their pictures with a level of security that they can control who can view their pictures and who can not. I won't provide pw's for any albums that I do not own. Sorry, but if anyone is going to post their pictures, I want them to be able to control who has access.
