cockroaches To Newbies beware on getting rooms in the 5000 as i noticed,theres lots of cockroaches the place is minging the food is warmed up well i went with thomas cook, So they gave me a part refund when i showed them the photos They gave me £1000 back thanks thomas cook hope you do take this out of your brochure, this site is full of people trying to sell Temptation resort, The ones with the timeshare they are crazy the place would close only for them well the barcelo comes highly recommended they empty and clean the pool there in TTR they use this funny old hoover on a stick by the way a room next to mine was flooded when the drains over flowed there was poo everywere the canadian couple never even got any money for the damage to there property ROOM 5413 i was in never again
Hey, I dont like cockroaches or poo either! Thankfully we didnt experience issues with either when we were at TTR. Totally appreciate you sharing your experiences as people should know the rooms are not 5 star and do have issues from time to time. Dont appreciate you implying that people are on here 'trying to sell Temptation resort' and that we have something to gain by sharing our opinions and saying we like something. I know I have nothing to gain. You have a right to share your bad experience. We have a right to share our good experiences. Cant wait to be back April 26th!!! I will think twice though if they give me 5413
We were in 5 block in December - lovely. No issues. Yes we did see a big scary beetle - it's Mexico, not Liverpool or Lincolnshire! :daisy:
Looking at your post history you clearly have an ax to grind. Controversial opinions on Drugs and Guns (but opinions are fine). Made it very clear you dont like the USA and your ex-wife, which is fine. Then on 12/26 2 days before your trip asked for what the best hotel in cancun was. Okay - ... I am not trying to sell TTR - nor are we members; albeit, we should consider this as we have been to TTR 4 times in a year lol!! On one occasion we did have the pleasure of staying in the 5000 block with absolutely no issue. That being said is this a 5 star resort ... no and doesn't claim to be; however, the fun aspect is definitely a 5 star experience. Finally, your accusatory comments are uncalled for and do not hold merit ... and I'm pretty sure I did read a plug directing others to the Barcelo - hmmmm ... who is attempting to sell a resort?? Pretty sure they have PR people trained to do this job and would most likely avoid your type of approach - just saying!!
