The DR is an interesting place. So yes, nudity on beach is a no go. But prostitution is legal and there are resorts that specifically cater to those who are looking to have a lady and a limo waiting for them on arrival.
We won’t be rushing to book because that will add 4+ hours to our travel each way. Cancun is a really short flight for us.
My friend booked a stay at the Grand and was told they can go to the Temptation part but people who book Temptation can't go to the Grand.
People from the Temptation side are going to be all up on tours that the Grand/Desire side will be no doubt be pushing hard. I can't imagine liking that very much and feeling like my nudity is part of the tour. At least give me some referral credits for all my hot sexy humping and pumping.
The 90 minute plus ride from Punta Cana airport to Miches will be something people wont like, unsure how that will work for private transfer.
While that is a long drive, for context, I believe the commute from Montego Bay to Negril is around 90 minutes and plenty still make that trek.
I was going to say the same thing, but for us, it is a deterrent. Our ride from Mobay airport to Hedo was a 90-minute taxi ride. Our driver described the towns we were driving through and eventually got around to offering us mar1juana. We were very nervous about declining. The taxi's are small, private companies, not big ones like USA Transfers. But anyway, not a fan of the long journeys.
Yes, I would agree the long drive is definitely a negative. Just not sure it will be a fatal one to the resort's success.
Anybody been able to find what the Miches cancelation policy/what happens if they don't open on time is? Looking to book Grand Miches over Halloween next year but can't find it anywhere on the site. Also, the FAQ section explicitly says people staying at Grand would need a day pass to visit regular Miches... This is not what we were told and I hope that it's incorrect.
Oh wow. I need to check out the FAQ too. I would find a need for day passes to go from the couples only to regular side quite frustrating. Edit: I couldn't find that info on the official Temptation website (Temptation Grand Miches Resort | Temptation Experience), but I did see it on Right Connection Travel's FAQ page.
