Looks like Temptation Grand is full nude couples only while Temptation is topless optional open to anyone. Good to have options!
I wonder as being a member of UVC, if the branding changes is also a sales tactic. If this was UVC a member may have to buy an upgrade to get access to the new resort brand. Does the PREMIER Member contract state all Original Group resorts or does it name Desire and Temptation?
So they're not calling it "Desire", they're calling it "Temptation Miches Grand" but they have the Desire logo on the brochure. I wish they would just use the name "Desire" to reduce confusion.
From what I understand the Dominican Republic would not approve the name “Desire” so they had to rename it Grand. It’s basically Desire, though, except from what I understand DR won’t let allow full nudity on the beach either. Apparently the Dominican is pretty conservative lol.
The name thing never makes sense to me. Temptation and Desire sound like better names to me than Secrets? Like hey what do you have to hide?
We have been to a few "Secrets" back in the day, before we discovered TTR. We would tell our friends where we were going and they would say "ohhh isn't that a swingers (nude, etc) resort". The name "Secrets" would definitely throw them off.
Good question. My guess would be maybe the guests at Temptation Grand will have access to both, but not the other way around.
