Man, y’all are awesome! Thanks so much for all the responses/advice. As a follow-up did anyone go into the trip thinking their wife wouldn’t even go topless and ended up having some memorable “adventures” with others?
Well, I will chime in...... I am the wife and I did not go topless the first trip. The name of resort and vibe were different back then but it was fun. I was very shy, still am, sort of and I have been there 10 times. The second trip I did take my top off after a day or two. I believe another girl took it off about 3PM when I was intoxicated and the pool cheered. The 3rd trip was amazing. So much fun. Over the years, I have went from wearing a regular bikini to a Malibu Strings and even sheer. So many amazing memories as I sit here thinking how I’ve grown up and out of my shell. It has taken me much longer than most. Consider me an outlier. I have not been on the BC, though I have paid for it many times. We missed it a couple times, the weather was too rough or we went to the wrong dock. 48 days!
Hello and welcome on the forum. We book TTR by accident back in 2013. Basicly it was sooo cheap we couldn’t book somewhere else. If i remember we paid around 1700 canadian for both of us everything included. So we decide to do some research after we book and i was scare as hell. At one point I did want to cancel but we couldnt because it was a last minute thing ( like 1 1/2 days before departure. Oh well I said let’s find out. ( i was turning 22 during our stay ) so I was one of the youngest guest during our time. Well we had a great time didn’t go topless except on our last day and was pretty shy. I subscribe here before we left but didn’t had plenty of time before we leave.The year after I decide to come and hang out on this forum more and create some kind of friend. Then the next trip was totally different and we made some friend that are now some of my best friends and friends for life. Years after years the trip are better and keeps getting better. It will be our 5 trip in paril and i can’t imagine myself going somewhere else.
Lori wasn't going topless under any circumstances & 'was not happy that I even booked it, that lasted about 30 minutes, and yes, the second nite after dancing at Patty-os things got very adventurous with a wonderful couple from Toronto. The party is consuming. Now she's the instigator!
We are on the same boat. We are heading into TTR with an open mind. My wife has gone topless at other events so I don’t think that will be an issue. We hope to have a memorable time there
Sounds like your wife and I are very similar. We booked TTR because friends of ours found it. We knew it was "topless optional" when we booked, but that was it. AFTER committing, I found this site and absolutely freaked out. I'm not terribly shy and I love a good party, but a lot of the posts on here made me feel like I was going to be in way over my head. I was terrified! However, we hadn't been to the sexy pool more than 5 minutes when a friend we'd met on this board recognized us, greeted us, and took us under his wing to show us how the place works. Within a day, we had a huge group of friends to hang out with. Now, the friends we've met on our 7 trips to TTR are some of our best friends, and we've met up with them many different times at TTR and elsewhere (we're even seeing several of them--including our first friends who showed us the ropes--in a few weeks in St. Louis!) As for the toplessness, let your wife know that "optional" means that leaving it on is a perfectly good option if she chooses. I kept mine on for the first 3-4 days of our first seven day trip. I finally took it off on the Boobs Cruise and realized nobody cared one way or another. (Todd was worried about how he'd react to all those bouncing boobies , but he said it's only distracting for a little while, and you eventually get so used to it that it feels completely normal to have a conversation with a bunch of nearly naked women!) The bottom line is that I spent a couple of months really dreading the trip, but the people there put me completely at ease. After five days, I won the Miss Temptation contest, and on our last trip, people actually thought I was part of the entertainment staff, so I guess you could say I've come out of my shell! So, I'd advise your wife: 1. Get to know a few people on here who will be there at the same time as you. Seek them out at the sexy pool when you arrive. 2. When you get there, don't be shy and wait for people to talk to you. Grab a bunch of shots from the pool bar, approach a group that looks fun, and introduce yourselves as first-timers. Everyone will be excited to tell you what they love about the resort. 3. Overpack. Take a few things you know you feel great wearing, a few things that you wish you were brave enough to wear at home but wouldn't, and at least one "Oh-Hell-NO!" outfit you don't think you'd ever be brave enough to wear. You might just surprise yourself! 4. Do the theme nights. You'll have a sense from the roll call for the time you're there if you are going to have enthusiastic participants. If you do, it's a great way to find each other and bond. You don't have to do all of them, but you might find you want to once you're there, so when you're shopping and packing, your motto should be "Better to have and not need than to need and not have." 5. Yes, there are swingers, and even though we aren't, I'd wonder if something's wrong with us if no one propositioned us while we're there. A polite, "We're flattered, but..." is all you need to say if you're not interested. If you are interested, go for it. 6. What I really wish someone had told me before our first trip is that this site represents just a small, very vocal portion of the people who go to TTR. Some of the threads on here can make you think everyone is naked, hooking up in public, and having sex right in your face. Honestly, that's not the reality. What you'll see when you get there is a bunch of normal people drinking and laughing their heads off, just enjoying being able to let loose in a way they can't at home or other "stuffy" resorts. The vibe is more playful than raunchy.
Almost the same story here. 4 years ago my wife booked on price alone. The more i started reading (and found this forum) the more nervous I got. My wife not so much. She’s got wonderful augmented 34 DD’s on a small frame. She has never shy about showing off the girls. But I was also worried about the “swinger rep”. We have enjoyed some same room stuff monogamously with friends but never even considered either one of us “swingers” still not. However, my wife did discover that she was VERY bi. I also discovered that that is very awesome. We’re seriously considering dipping our toes into the lifestyle but have never felt obligated or put upon by others. She’s come so far that she booked us for 8 days at HEDO while the renovation was occurring at TTR. You absolutely must do the Boobs Cruise. It will (I promise) be the highlight of your trip.
First time the wife was nervous because she was convinced it was a swingers place. In her defense, she heard stories from an aquantance who had been to one with intercourse and fellatio happening in the pool and at the bar. Of course, after the first day we realized this was not what happens here. First year the wifes top never came off. Two visits since, its never been on. Packs like 4 bottoms and one top. It is a giant party and i have never met so many cool people in one place. We always meet new people and try to set up travel with those we have met before. Of course there are swingers there. They are also at the mall, schools, or any resort you choose. Unless they have a wristband advertising it, you are not going to notice them acting any differnt than anyone else. What I have noticed since we just travel alone (not a group of friends) is that what happens there stays there. The phrase im sure that has already been spoken since you booked that begins “I would never...” will likely be violated! And who cares! All about fun!!
