Actually, no need to worry about steps. There's only perhaps 1-2 songs that even have them (cupid shuffle and maayyyybbeeee wobble) but honestly, at clubs (and Bash) its all just grinding and moving from one foot to another. I used to dj for many years in the club world and hated playing the cupid shuffle because it would disrupt an otherwise packed dance floor. In LA where we live, if you actually do the steps to a dance in a club, you're the one who would look strange (lol, we're a difficult but loveable bunch out here). I paid attention to the dj at Bash and you'll find those songs are generally played early in the night to get people in the mood but rarely played if ever during prime time. Also, when something with spanish comes on, you cant go wrong with spinning your wife every few minutes either. Never be scared to go out there and live it up . Grab her hips, pull her close and pretend you're 15 again and still a virgin.
Kinda a side question here......when we were there last before the renos, once the music stopped at whatever time in the morning, we would break out our own portable speaker and continue the party at what was them paty os (now Bash) until like 4 or 5am sometimes. Can/does this still happen or would they not allow it anymore?
Seen it once in Patio's. Have never seen it at Bash. But I am sure you could if you wanted. The bars close so you might want to stock up on drinks before hand though.
Just don't look like you're "trying" to dance. Whatever silly move you do, own it like that's the way it's supposed to be done. And alcohol.... definitely use alcohol, lol.
