Left there last week some people swam after pool party but heat was turned off and water was freezing
We were there Saturday. It was about 1am before we went to check it out (we were at Paty O's earlier and forgot). The 24/7 pool is the Sports Pool. When we arrived there were quite a lot of people around but only a few hardy souls actually in the pool. During the day there were very few people in the sexy pool too - just too cold at this time of year. Alex the DJ was playing, although when we arrived he told us he had just been asked to calm it all down and bring things to a close. No activities staff were present and there wasn't anything organised like games etc, just a few drunk people in the pool and lots standing round watching. We didnt see any drinks service, no towels available, or anyone to watch for peoples safety.
Sounds dissapointing, was hoping it would be getter. Not much point to it if they are not going to offer any service to go with it, hopefully this will be improved, or at least offered earlier in the night. Hopefull someone will be there to keep an eye out for safety issues, as leaving it up to people who are on vacation and wo have been enjoying the alcohol and party atmosphere to do it obviously can't be too good.
It's still obviously a very new concept, hopefully they can get it down path, it sounds like a great idea.
so no difference both saturday nights we were there, it was exactly that just a normal pool party finished about 1am.. so i guess they havent implemented the 24/7 concept yet
I heard they are starting the 24/7 thing on new years eve. Someone I know is there and asked about it. Second hand info, so take it for what it's worth!
