When I was in mid-state Maine last summer the coverage went in and out. But cel coverage there is spotty for locals anyway. When I was in Colorado in November hubby and I sent msgs back and forth all day long and there was little or no delay. Seems like the local carrier is the guilty one.
phone RG, Gringa and I blamed the long delays on the abundance of calls/texts taking place around NYE. Of course, if the messages are still being delayed that long, then we can't blame it on a high number of users. I give up.
Susan, That's not correct. Those delayed messages were from my Minnesota AT&T phone, not my Telcel phone roaming here. And the delays started New Year's Eve, both sending to Mexico and receiving from Mexico. I'm blaming Telcel because I've been texting with a friend in Dubai on my Minnesota cell and those international messages go through without delay.
