Hey guys any of you went to the club la boom?? it's closed now but a had awesome times in there I tried to find some videos on youtube but there's nothing!! So sad... It's a great forum by the way...
was by far my favourite club, music was so good - gutted when it closed, have got a pics and vids of it from 03 - 05 around at home somewhere, will try and get them up on a site if i can.
Saw a few videos of this place looked very good think video i seen from the 90s the clothes and dancing is so random :lol:
After Wilma they had too much damage from what I remember, they didnt want to rebuild, and wanted to rather sell off the property for condos from what I remember steve saying(I think). The place was awsome, tequila boom and la boom. I am happy I had the pleasure of going there a few times..........
I spent some time at LaBoom.. :cry: It was a great place! Henry would especially have loved it. Less hip hop and way more trance... Tequila Boom was in the same building but a different bar and atmosphere. I never went there... From what I understand, the place was bad on money (mis-management?) before Wilma... Wilma was the nail in the coffin for them and I think they went bankrupt? You can buy it for like 3 mil and re-open it! I did see the listing for it a couple years back. I got the link to it via these boards. IDK if it ever sold or if its still on the market... or not...
