    I agree with Les on them being a personal choice. Be your own person, and don't feel pressured by someone else.

    My personal choice is to avoid tattoos completely. I do not feel that the lower back tattoos add to a woman's appearance, and IMO detracts in many cases.

    I know this sounds like I am ancient, but the tats that look great when you are 20-50+ are not going to look quite as well when you get older.

    One of my tats is on my wrist, wonder what it'll look like if I live to 80?! :lol:

    I don't have much concern of what my looks will be like if I make it to 80 :)

    I'd say it depends on what it is. It'd be like an 80 year old man with a skull and crossbones on his biceps. Doesn't convey the same image as it does when he was 20. Honestly, I would say your tattoo will probably look like a "smear" by the time you hit 80. :lol:

    I did catch on the news the other day that Barbie now comes with tats. One of them being the same tattoo that this forum is about:

    Really can't understand why people are bothered about what thier bodies willlook like when they are 80. God forbid we could get killed tomoorw in an accident, live for today and deal with tomorrow if and when it comes xxx
