We booked with another couple first trip and they did not like it at all. They didn't have a problem with the topless thing, but just didn't get or like the TTR concept. Said room was too noisy and was disgusting (they were on the quiet pool side whilst we had a room outside Paty O!), and only once ventured over to the Sexy Pool and left after about 2 minutes. They didn't like the nightly entertainment, and said the food was awful as well. Thing is, this couple like to have fun and party until dawn a lot back home. Bringing people with you, you just don't know how they'll react until they're actually there and engulfed in TTR.
We have invited 2 other couples 'last min' for our trip in Dec. They are both couples that would have no issues seeing us topless or getting topless, we THINK. They're not even as close to us as some of our other friends but you know what? The kind of people that we want to come to TTR are not necessarily the people we are close with or have known the longest. If I had any reservations about them accepting the culture down there, or the behaviors, I would never mention it to them. I know I definitely don't want to go down there and feel like I have to keep my top on, or worry about them being a wet blanket on the TTR life. Then again like Trish said, you just run a risk of never knowing!! People will surprise you! Hope it goes well for ya!
Before we even went on our first trip we were explaining the place to our friend. He immediately went on trip advisor and was very very skeptical reading some of the reviews (mostly the ones that said there were swingers everywhere). We were a bit skeptical as well, but didn't really care that much and were fine to take the chance. Obviously it was amazing and the reviews on trip advisor were pretty much untrue or extremely bias. After coming home we explained the whole thing to my buddy. He came around more to it, but didn't look 100% convinced. I know he is a crazy guy and would have no issue, but I think he was thinking of his wife. She is much more on the tame side, and likes to spend her vacations reading. So that's never going to work and we just know not to ever really ask them not to come with us. From a boobs perspective, I don’t know how comfortable I would be seeing boobs that I have known clothed for 10 years now unclothed. I can't 100% answer that or sure, because I didn't know how comfortable I was going to be my first time with random boobs. Turns out, I was very very comfortable as soon as my feet hit the water in the sexy pool 15 minutes after check-in.
Our experience has been puzzling. We obviously had a blast but when we enthusiastically share our experience with our friends they all get uncomfortable. And our friends not uptight people. So we just decided to drop it and maybe they'll come to us when they see us go back repeatedly and have a blast.
Lol .. Yep I did it last year. ( Ben didn't know nothing about it ) He didn't know about the trip and either about his friend that was coming ) Was the first time that we met his new girlfriend as well. I would say, talk to them before and let them know. If you feel you're judge or something like that don't even think about it. We had one of the most amazing trip !! We saw each other naked on the Boobs Cruise except for ben who keep his short on ! We saw so much thing that here NEVER IT WILL HAPPEN. And you know what ? We are planning our trip again for next year all the 4 of us and Ben & Martin are friend since they have like 5 years old lol WHAT HAPPEN IN CANCUN STAY IN CANCUN !! When we went @GOV, I was a bit angry at ben because he was telling everyone I was topless and I kiss a girl, I told him now if you please shut the fuck up. No one wants to know and no one care. He never did it after. Worst then that. We met someone who leaving 15 min next to us ( gatineau ) And we met acsnoracer who is in the same business of us and he know ben. But whatever, nobody care. and Even then, was the best trip EVER ! Enjoy, Relax, and if your friends doesn't like it, well you can do alot of things around Temptation .. They can go as well in the quiet pool which nobody is there. =)
I'll let you know after the February Shitshow. We are bringing 4 couples with us. I'm expecting everything to be good. We're not swingers but are swayers and party nudity isn't new. So that shouldn't be weird. I'd be sketchy as hell about bringing totally vanilla friends that can't pull off a decent hot tub party with me. A week at TTR is a valuable thing and I don't want to waste it babysitting.
That's what I like about this place, what happens in Cancun is entirely different to normal life!! We're all in the same place doing the same thing, so things like seeing boobs or other bits and bobs doesn't even factor in for me. It's part of the fun, knowing you're up to outrageous stuff you wouldn't dare try at home. I'd love it if a group of my friends would join us one year, we've got some fantastic friends and I know some would positively melt with the fun and frolics we get up to, but they either can't afford it or have kids, or other commitments that me and Russ don't have.
I took a friend one time... Her husband let me know how disrespectful I was being to MY husband by going hopeless... Ruined our whole trip! Total buzzkill if they were with us so this year.... They can stay their ass home!!!! I'm in cancun bitch!!!

We took friends of ours after we informed them fully of the concept and happens at the resort . He said his wife would never go topless....she was in a matter of two days. After three days, he thanked us for letting them travel with us saying that they had more sex in week (with each other) than they had all year. If you tell the people that you are traveling with that it is up to themselves to enjoy the place and set what they will encounter , both the good and the not so good, then if they do not have a good time it is their own fault.
