We used these double wall tumblers made by Bubba Keg. They are clear and light so you know what you are drinking and how much is left all the time. Keeping track of them was easy too, and easy to clean. Worked out great and kept the drinks nice and cold and kept the pool water and bees and everything else out. Now for the whiskey/spirits enthusiasts .... just pack your normal thermal insulated coffee mug .... and ask your friendly bartender for ICE. ...lasts for a few hours or basically till your next meal if you don't chug it. It's totally amazing how much you can sip in a day ... oh and before I forget...this works best when you grab a bottle of your favoriite spirits on the way out! I will say there is something decadent about tipping for ice
We used to use the mugs from the gift shop but this year I got TERVIS insulated glasses from Bed Bath and Beyond. They had our initial on them so easily identified, and they have their own straws and lids. Different sizes and logos available. We found they worked great
LOVE Tervis! Love my Tervis tumblers (16 oz) as they have coffee mug to-go lids and straw lids (but you can easily drink your coffee through the straw hole) and straws with snap-on covers. It's an investment but we've had ours now for over 2 years and not a scratch on any of them.
We just got 2 of these bottles (24oz) of Amazon.ca for like $10 each. Havn't used them yet but they arrived and look like they will be perfect. The cap even twists and the straw automatically gets closed inside the bottle so nothing gets in.
One suggestion. Get the insulated cups or mugs that have the 2 drinking options, Straw or no straw. Drinking beer or some mixed drinks through a straw when you are not used to it, may cause you to take a 7+ hour "Cat Nap" and miss alot of fun. Or may entice some to overcome their deep seeded exhibitionist fantasy .... if that is the case.... Drink away my friends, and be sure to cheer them on!
Got my new 34oz bubba keg yesterday. All I have to do is put a big Union Jack on it and its ready for TTR :uk1:
