Driving down Coba this week, no more Tai Pei...completely gone. Packed up, signs down, tables gone, etc. We tried to call, thinking they perhaps just relocated, but no one answers the number. Anyone know what happened? I know we all thought the owner was at best, a little odd...but, I really liked their food. Anyone? Anyone?
No idea what happened, but did notice a new Chinese on Bonampak, just down from and on the opposite side to the bullring towards centro. Dragon Thai Chi is the name I think. Anyone tried it?
Yeah I've been there twice. Once for Thai, once for chinese. It's so so so much better than Hong Kong and they have duck as well! The chef is a chinese guy who lived in Mexicali for a long time - just tell him the way you want things cooked and he'll do it for you.
