That is it, I finally got it, after reading this post for the last month and suspecting that it was full of double and triple entendre's I finally realized that it is not, "swinging without the swing", I can't believe I have been scratching my head for so long over this one that I have gone bald with the efforts. So if we were to install a temporary swing, the support structure required to have 2, 3 sometimes 4 or 5 people engaged within the activity of swinging, the up and down motion as you laterally extend your legs to reach the peak height required for a good back swing, not to mention the efforts required to hang on as the excess limits are reached with multiple people, would require the cross-sectional boring into multiple joists when in reality it is a temporary, non-permanent, type of relationship whereby at the end of the weekend you have to remove any vestiges and evidence of what happened during the events of the weekend so as not to sour the relationship you have established with the proprietors of the venue which you are renting. In order to possibly do this type of "swinging without a swing" I would suggest we rent a vertical stainless steel mobile pole similar to the type that is available in the Nice Shoes bar and in this manner we can recieve the type of entertainment proposed without leaving any permanent traces of what we were doing. Does anyone have a strippers pole?
