We have been to Hedo quite a few times and have never found the men to women ratio out of balance. We are going to TTR because we are bringing some friends who have never been to an "adult" resort, so like someone said before..."a good stepping stone". I love Hedo, but do want to go to Desire. We'll just have to see how this trip goes for our friends!! I have found that having an incredible time is not for everybody!!

What Fun place to vacation! - Review of Temptation Resort & Spa, Cancun, Mexico - TripAdvisor I guess it is what it is, after visiting--- it is what it says it is under it's sign an adult experience.
We've been to all 3 places and I guess are in the swayer club also. Another asset to Desire (on top of the others that have been mentioned) is the location. Less than a half hour from the airport on relatively good roads as opposed to Hedo (at least H3) which was an hour and a half over a variety of surfaces (hi-way, gravel and dirt- at least it was that way 5 yrs ago). We did a split week- 4d at TTR and 3d at Desire... in that order- 3 years ago.
We found more swingers at TTR this year than all our other trips put together. We could have hooked up with at least 7 couples in the first week and about six in the second week. So yes try TTR, we don't think you'll be disappointed.
We were there in April and we noticed that there were quite a few people into the lifestyle. Can't compare it to any other time since it was our first time there, but basically if you aren't into that, then it's not going to be something that bothers you at all, and if you are, then you will be able to find it...
We went to TTR in May of this yr for our first time. We are in the lifestyle. lol I (the wife) was a little nervous, as I heard a lot of stories of how people were having sex in public. After the first hour at TTR, I realized that those stories were not true, as they have signs that say NO SEX IN PUBLIC. Sure there were a lot of swingers, swayers (never heard that term until we went to TTR), vanilla and wow the prudes! The prudes we can do without. If you book at an adultsonly resort, read to see if there are topless are nude areas. My girlfriends and I seem to attract the prudes who tried to give us a hard time for being topless. We asked her, Where do you think you are.. at a family resort? Then we told her to look around the pool. Most of the ladies were topless and the pool was very full. Hell, the oldest lady I talked to who was topless was in her 70's and wanted to give Ms Prude a piece of her mind...lol All we are saying, is if you book at an adults only, do some research! We plan to go back to TTR in May again with some of the people we met this yr. And every year if we can........
Everyone gets approached at TTR there's no doubt that's going to happen. Our friends that we traveled with were approached within the first couple of hours after arriving at the resort, but where the true problem lies is where this party takes place because when we swung by there room the next morning their 400+ pound headboard was literally ripped off the back of the wall and they were at an absolute loss for words about how to describe the acrobatics that had taken place in their room the night before. I believe all this could have been avoided if the right questions would have been asked upfront like "so have most Canadian's worked for Cirque du Soleil", "so how many years did it take for you to master the tight rope act", or like "so when you say swinger's do you really actually mean trapeze artist's", and based on those answers that's how it should be decided if & where this party should take place. I think just about everyone at TTR is at least flattered about being approached for good room party, but I don't know anyone who's flattered about paying for the repairs to their room.
