we are a little concerned, we don't have a plan B for our wedding in playa del carmen. please god don't shut down the border.
Dr. Richard Besser, acting director of the CDC... says the government will be releasing a new travel advisory recommending that nonessential travel to Mexico be avoided, out of an "abundance of caution."
babymoon38 thats a great idea, I have a feeling her love for peanut butter M&M's is gonna get her into a lot of trouble on this trip lol
Guys, most of us are laughing and joking about this whole virus thing because a vacation is just a vacation but your wedding is something very special so we really hope it doesn't affect playa del carmen and you get have a wonderful and memorable wedding xxx
I think everyone is way over reacting. Mexico City has millions of people and 150 confirmed cases. New York once again millions and like 10 people. Which by the way the NY cases are a much weaker strain of the virus and may not even be from Mexico. Chacnes of getting it are so low its crazy. No way in hell would I cancel a trip to Cancun because of this. Chances are you'd have a better chance of getting murdered in Cancun then catching the "swine flu". Heck you have about the same chance of winning a million in the lottery as you do catching the "swine flu". Go have fun. Nick and Renee
We haven't been back to Cancun for about 5 years now. We sure picked a fine time to go back....I plan on drinking enough to kill any strain of flu anyway. us2933....I would be happy to bring you peanut butter M&M's...can you not get them in Wales?
