Absolutely! We were already planning on that! We did a booze cruise on our honeymoon and had a great time. This one will be even wilder....lol!

    Ok everyone, real quick question?!
This is my husbands and my first vacation out of states, so wondering what we need to remember?
I know we need our passports, do we need a copy or the main birth certificate?
Is there anything else that you know of that we might need besides some cash for tipping? Any advice would help me out BIG time!
    Thanks
    Jess

If you have a passport, no need to take a birth certificate. $20 in tipping goes a long way for tipping and they especially love the $2 bills.

If you plan on leaving the resort for clubbing or dining, be sure to take cash for that too. From past experiences, using a credt card can be dangerous. Ask Kancun Kimmie. All of the clubs away from the resort are $30-60/person but it's an open bar.

Any snorkeling packages and such I would also suggest taking cash for that. Temptations has safes in all of their rooms and we have never had any problems leaving our cash/passports/jewelry in them. You get to set the code and all.

Just my $0.02 for the day.

I always make a couple copies of my passport, take one with me and leave one at home as a backup. I also do the same thing with my debit & credit cards. I always make sure that I lock the copies in my safe when I arrive and check on them daily...I have never had a problem. I usually bring around $400.00 cash, with a variety of bills...you do not want to bring too many large bills as it can take an act of god to make change. When I run out of cash I use the ATM in the gift shop and have never had any problems. I bring my credit card for emergency's only and try to never use it.

They also give you change in pesos if you give them US money.

first vacation to temptations - omg this is going to fun

april gave her two cents and fun johnny gave his so ill chip in mine too

    1. once you have packed everything you think you could possibly need - take half of it out and then you will have what you need -

    2. they are 100% correct - use credit cards for emergency only :!:

    3. get to know the people who make your tastes - know them by name - they will treat you great :)

    4. tmac will end up getting your bikini top on the booze cruise - so be prepared - ill try and talk him out of it - but it never seems to work

    5. stay away from ticker web sites

    6. ear plugs are not a bad idea (ive used them before after an all night drunk - and we do a lot of them)

    7. please dont take this the wrong way - but prepared to have lots of intimate time with your hubby - this place just makes it happen - its why t and i go back - we have more sex here in a weekend than we have all year in dallas :D

    8. let me know your favorite type of music/songs so i can burn them for our booze cruise

    9. participate, participate, participate - so i dont have to

first vacation to temptations - we will help you along the way. Honest. No fooling.

    1. As Rob said- once you have packed everything you think you need, reduce it by 50%. Many swimsuit bottoms, 1 top. It will probably go back as clean as it left home.

    2. Introduce yourself to the bartenders and waiters. Tip them- let them know what you like. They will be your friends when the rest of us are making fools of ourselves and you REALLY need a drink. Thank them, smile, and remember their names. It works wonders. Especially the thanks and the tips.

    3. You will lose your bikini top on the booze cruise, and around the pool. This loss can be avoided by not wearing it to start with. Tuck it away in your bag. YOU will know where it is and you are the only person who really has to know! We probably will not ask you where it is. Honest. Trust me.

    4. Send music requests to make sure you like some of the music. Otherwise you have no right to complain about the music you are listening to! However, with the games, the drinks, and the fun- you may actually not hear the music! Dancing is required even if you do not like, or cannot hear, the music.

    5. Participate in all the games both on the booze cruise and around the sexy pool. Make sure you hang with us and we will tell you which games are the best to play. Honest. When you see us laughing remember we are laughing WITH you.

    6) If we have empty glasses feel free to help us refill them.

    7) Camera pics are allowed if we all are involved. It helps us remember the silly things we got up to-and it helps us show our friends back home that we were really not lying on some deserted beach somewhere.

    8) Find some fun people to hang out with and you will become as addicted as the majority of the people who frequently post here. Honest.

    Trust us.

Just an FYI, if you have never been or gone topless in a public environment, please do NOT feel pressured to do so. We accept you for who you are and don't expect you to do ANYTHING you are not comfortable doing!

No pressure at all!! Just wanted to put that out there in case you were feeling discouraged by some of the other posts about it being a requirement to be topless or whatever.

It is A LOT of fun but there is absolutely no requirement to be topless! If you do it, great, if you don't do it, that's great too! :daisy:

AHHHH you guys are hilarious, I have to work on getting a picture up on here this weekend, so you guys can actually spot us! :) So as far as the passport goes, I should make some copies of them and leave them at home, and then leave copies in the safe along with the actual passport, and no birth certificate, that makes my life a little easier! Yes I am blonde! :)
Truly Truly, this is going to be amazing! I am seriously glad that these forums exist, and that I was able to meet you all ahead of time! THanks for all of your advice, and I sure wish we were leaving tomorrow!
    This wait is forever long!

Ah April you are so sweet!
Well I have lived in Flasher, North Dakota before, but usally the flashing doesn't start with out some beers! So we will see what comes out of it! I truly am not discouraged by anything! But thank you for making me feel welcome no matter what! First off there is really not much that I am letting hang out if I take my top off, I might be imagined as a guy if I don't leave my top on. lol Kinda itty bitty ones on this girl! But we will see how the days progress :)
