You poor things.. What a week you have had. And on top of that your baby hasn't come back. That does make me sad.

Just know - we are here for you..if you need anything, just say the word!

I just sent you email, (before I read all of this) let me know if what I asked is too much...trust me - NONE of it is a big deal. You have enough on your hands right now.

No worries - your vacation is coming soon...and there are no ICEBERGS in Cancun! Leave your coats at home!

Ahhh you all are very great people! No Sympathy is needed!! THank you so much for all of your kind thoughts! We have been married 3 years and have survived all sorts of things! Our first year of marriage on our anniversary our house burnt down, (we laugh about it now) our second year of marriage, the pasture behind us was on fire. And now our 3 year anniversary is in 2 months, so we are wondering if the flood is part of our continuing ritual. lol.... What doesn't hurt us makes us stronger! As far as our poor dog. well we have a feedlot near us, and I have a small feeling that they might of hit him with equipment, and just haven't told us. Their pasture was all flooded so they were out moving ice chuncks everywhere. Kage (our male dog) always follows Tom around when he is in the bobcat. But Tom of course is a lot more careful and looks out for him all the time. So we don't have an official, but someday maybe they will tell us! Until then, it is one less animal for the mother-in-law to take care of!
I sure hope he returns, but have to be open minded about the situation!
With all that happens we truly realize that life is precious, and we learn to enjoy each and every day and moment.
We have each other, and our daughter! So we always feel that no matter what comes our way, we are still O K!
I will be super glad not to have to worry about ice or snow on vacation. lol

i learned many years ago just how brutally unfair life can be - the harsh reality is we do not get to choose how or when we are hurt - but we always get to pick how we will heal............and whether or not we will let that hurt makes us a much better person or a much worse person

i think im relatively save in assuming that you guys will be much better people for this

as hemingway once said, "sooner or later the world breaks everyone.....and afterwards many are strong at the broken places"

regardless of who you are the world will break you -

as hemingway understood...........

its learning to live through those "broken places" that makes life so incredibly wonderful and beautiful

OMG this is so sad for you guys. We really hope everything works out for you especially the return of your dog. We'd be lost with out George (our staffordshire terrier). A we have no children together, he's our little baby.
If lynfa has to do a naked dance for her M&M's she'll be naked the whole trip by the looks of things. We'll give you a cwtch when we see to, always makes us feel better when things are hard for us. Take care xxx
