We are visiting Temptation on 29th April for a week. We are not sure what to do because of the reports of the swine flu. Anyone else unsure of what to do or are you just going ahead withyour holidays? We have been trying to free up a week since Feb and only booked last week and then we hear the reports 2 days after booking. Whats the feeling of everyone? I guess we are more worried of coming over and not being able to fly home.. This would be our second visit and we were really looking forward to it. Any update would be welcome..
There's nothing really to report from Cancun. There are still no confirmed cases here - some cases in other countries are being attributed to visits to Cancun but since no one here has it I just wonder who they caught it from ??? We are not worried at all, if you do make your trip look us up on Saturday we'll be at Temptation for sure.
It's just the Flu. Nothing more, nothing less. We face the Flu every year. Why worry. I am not worried at all. It is simply something like we see all the time. This not a plauge of a killer disease! Don't worry, It is the job of those to inform you of possible risk and that is all. Going May 13 to 20 and ready to party.
We will be there May 4th-11th! No swine flu blues here. Looking forward to partying with all you. J&V
well...i live in whitney,TX. which is between DFW and Waco. Supposedly there are cases in dallas and even as close as a small town between here and dallas. I work in a pharmacy so if it really is here (these cases are not all confirmed yet) I'm sure that I will be exposed to it. I won't stop going to work unless we close (which won't happen), so why would I cancel my trip to cancun where what they thought was swine flu came out negative on the tests?
I couldn't agree more, this is just the latest thing for the media to hype up and make us fear (Tonight at 11!). 40,000 - 50,000 people die in the US every year from the flu, so I am not sure why this is being treated any different. My wife already said she is going on her vacation even if she has to wear a surgical mask at the pool! -Michael
