Funny story...a few weeks ago I was walking down from the pool to the beach with my 4 year son (not at TTR...yet, just at OCMD beach) to go ride some waves. As we walk past this group of 5 ladies the one calls me over and quietly says "I am sorry, and I didn't mean to look, but it is right at my eye level and your bathing suit is opening." I laughed and said, oh it doesn't actually open up, and showed her how it was made and just re-did the Velcro. Her girl friends didn't know exactly what was going on with my crotch in this ladies face, and I could tell things seemed awkward. So I turned and looked at the group and said "My pants were opening and she was letting me know. I guess you just can't hold this monster back". They all started to die laughing and Max and I casually walked away. He looked at me and said "Those ladies thought you were really funny." I just said "I know" and we both laughed about it.
Agree with DonnaandTim on eBay Get some squares and go a little outside your comfort zone. Wore a pair last trip and wife loved them on me. The wives step up their game, the guys should too. Saw more guys with the squares last trip btw.
This will be my first trip so I'm bringîng a couple pairs of board shorts, a pair of square cuts, and a couple of speedo style swimsuits. I'll see how things go as the week progresses.
I don't really care what people think.......lol..........but speedos or less are. The most comfortable. Someone the other day compared board shorts to wet diapers......and while it's been decades since I've worn diapers......I'd tend to agree.
