When we walked through TTR last Tuesday(we were trying the GOV....wont go back, but that's another thread), headed out to the Boobs Cruise at about 10am, the first thing my wife said was..."holy shit! Look at all the loungers with no towels or shirts on them!!". There were only maybe 6 or 7 chairs "spoken for". Dont think Ive ever seen that.
Wow! I didn't know my question would cause this big of an uproar. I hate waking up to reserve a chair I might use for 10 min max.
We rarely sit either, but I still think hording a chair all day when its not used is ridiculous. We usually either are in the pool, or sitting on the sides or at the pool bar.
That is a normal occurrence on Boobs Cruise day, cause all the cool party people are going on the boat and not by the pool .
I'm totally picking up what your putting down and as far as a "chill place" I meant more the people and their attitudes. I don't expect them to be snobby or prudent. I know the atmosphere won't be "chill". Now I know about the chair saga I get it whatever, I'm learning. It's part of the transition from newbie to regular right?
can I bring my own? Float Inflateable Raft Swimming Water Lounge Pool Beach Lake Chair Water Sports | eBay So is this problem just with the lounge full length lounge chairs? I don't mind sitting in a regular chair? I can't see myself hanging out in one spot for hours, I just need to park my stuff.
I would love a regular chair, don't no why they don't make some availible , takes up so much lees room.
No worries I can do without and I will just save a seat on my face for my lovely wife after all it is our vacation hope this will sway the subject lol.
I was there in late February. It really wasn't that big of a deal. I was grateful for this site to let me know what to expect and the 'rules'. I set the alarm for 6:30am. I stumbled to the pool from the 5000 block. I placed shirts on 2 chairs and tied them together with a tank top. I stumbled back to the room to shower and get ready for the day. We were down in the chairs by 10 am every day. We smoke electronic cigerettes so it's nice to have a spot to get out of the pool away from the masses for 5-10 minutes to warm up and have a smoke, then get a drink refill and head back to the pool. I can see the frustration with 'reserved' chairs and never seeing anybody in them but it's really not that big of a deal. Go with the flow...you are on vacation for frig sakes. It's fun! Drink! See boobies! Push limits! It's truely an amazing place. Nikki
