I have to agree the whole chair saving thing is childish to be honest, but we found the sexy pool vibe way to cliqueish for us so we just chilled on the beach in front of the quiet pool . Lots of loungers and beds and people to chat with if you wanted . The bar is a very short walk and you could still walk to the sexy pool bar to watch the games if you like . :beer4::beer4::69:
LOL, you can keep your butt plug in but I will take the shot. I understand what you are saying but until they come up with a better solution it's the way people do it. Trust me, I don't enjoy dragging my still drunk ass to the pool in the early hours to get a chair either. Honestly they aren't used much so its even sillier. We have many friends going at the same time so we'll probably share. You are there a few weeks after us so enjoy and don't sweat the small stuff, you'll have an awesome time with or without a lounger
Yeah we seldom use the loungers at pools anyway and the sexy pool has a rather large shallow sun deck area if I'm not mistaken so that's where we will probably set up shop anyway

This is the reason we luv August - all loungers are usually taken by 10 am providing loads of time to stake your claim, but March is definitely the month the "chair saving game" is in full force lol!!! :xyxthumbs: Doesn't bother us - many times we took lounge chairs on the beach; yet still having a freaking blast - not too sure what this is about - oh, right - it's because I'm on vaca at TTR Biatches'!!! :ernaehrung005: Cheers, :beer4: C
Yeah. The time you need to get up to be guaranteed a prime location sexy pool chair depends on the time of year. On our feb trip the last couple lounges would be 'reserved' at the sexy pool at 7 something. In late April / early May they were gone by 6:30 to 7AM. In October it was 9 something and a day or two even later. The important thing to remember is there are always chairs at the beach and/or quiet pool. People want the prime locations, including us, so we get up early to get them. And yes, then we nap for a couple more hours, sometimes in them. Sometimes back in the room. But we always come back to the chairs by 9 or 10am. If someone is sitting in them when we return (very rare since 9-10 is still pretty early for the sexy pool) then we sit down and say hi. Most people roll back out between 10 and 11. From our experiences 95% of the people play this 'game' with the other 5% either not coming back to the chair at a reasonable time or looking for a confrontation about the chair game. End result is we are not trying to change the world on our vacation and especially not starting with chairs. We know the game and play it accordingly.
I sure hope I don't get to drunk and play take everyone's chair marker and pile it up next to the sexy pool bar at 4:30-5:00 when stumbling back to the room. That would suck. I'm just going to tell everyone right now "I Don't remember shit". Just so everyone knows this is just a joke... We don't stay up that late we go to bed right after bible study around 9:00-9:30 at the latest.

It has become a runnin' joke. Your sentiments are nothing new and fall on deaf ears. The 'game is the game' and it will always be at Mecca. (Part of why mecca is mecca really) You are new and as such dont realize TTR is not gonna change for you. So as the sayin' goes 'when in Rome...'
